Credits, Pricing, and Account Management
• How does the credit system work?
Answer: Epsimo AI operates on a credit-based system where each credit costs 0.1 Euros. Credits are consumed each time you create a thread with an agent. The number of credits consumed depends on the LLM used by the agent. For instance:
Using an open-source LLM like Groq consumes 1 credit per thread.
Using a premium LLM like GPT-4 consumes 3 credits per thread.
• How can I top up my credits?
Answer: To top up your credits, simply click on the "Buy" button located in the credits section of your account. You can choose the amount of credits you wish to purchase, and your account will be updated immediately.
• How many credits do I get when I start using Epsimo AI?
Answer: When you first start using Epsimo AI, you receive 100 credits as part of the free trial. These credits allow you to explore the platform and create agents. Once your free credits are used up, you can purchase additional credits.
• How can I check my credit balance?
Answer: Your current credit balance is always visible on the menu bar of your account. This balance is updated in real-time as you create threads and use agents, so you can easily track your usage.
• How do I know how many credits a thread will cost?
Answer: When you create an agent and select the LLM for that agent, an indication will appear showing the number of credits that will be consumed per thread based on the LLM you’ve chosen. This helps you estimate your credit usage before creating threads.
• Can I use premium LLMs like GPT-4 with my credits?
Answer: Yes, you can use premium LLMs like GPT-4 with your credits. However, be aware that these models typically cost more credits per thread compared to open-source models like Groq. Always check the credit cost for the specific LLM when setting up your agent.
• What happens if I run out of credits?
Answer: If you run out of credits, you will not be able to create new threads or use agents until you top up your account with additional credits. Your existing agents and threads will remain in place, and you can resume usage once your credit balance is replenished.

How do I get started with Epsimo AI?
Answer: To get started, log into your account and create your first project. Choose the type of AI agents (Chat, RAG, or Full Assistant) you’d like to implement. You can follow the step-by-step tutorials available in the platform’s help section for more guidance.
• How do I create an agent?
Answer: To create an agent, follow these steps:
-
Select the Agent Type: Choose between a Chat Agent, RAG Agent, or Full Assistant agent based on your needs.
-
Upload Files: Optionally, upload specific files that the agent will use for additional training on a particular topic. This helps the agent prioritize this data and treat it as the most reliable source, reducing the risk of hallucinations.
-
Provide Instructions: Write clear and detailed instructions for the agent on what tasks it should perform. Be as descriptive as possible, as if you were onboarding an employee to complete this task. Including best practices for prompt writing is encouraged.
-
Add Tools: You can add tools to help the agent complete its tasks. Popular tools include Tavily (for accessing the internet) or DALL-E (for generating images).
-
Select the LLM: Choose the LLM (language model) for your agent. Different LLMs may offer varying levels of power and cost per thread. As you select your LLM, you’ll see the corresponding credit cost per thread.
-
Public Feature: Optionally, you can enable the "public" feature for your agent. By doing so, you will receive a shareable link that allows others to access the agent and chat with it. This link can be shared or embedded into another application, enabling users to interact with the agent directly.
· What best practices should I consider when interacting with an agent
The way you formulate your prompt significantly impacts the quality and relevance of the responses from your AI agent. To enhance these interactions, consider the following best practices:
-
Clarity and Specificity: Clearly articulate your objectives with the prompt. Be specific about the information or action you are seeking.
-
Contextual Information: Provide sufficient context to help the recipient understand the background and purpose of the prompt. This may include relevant details or examples.
-
Conciseness: Keep the prompt concise and focused. Avoid unnecessary information that might confuse or distract from the main objective.
-
Open-Ended Questions: Use open-ended questions to encourage detailed responses and exploration of ideas, leading to more insightful and comprehensive answers.
-
Actionable Language: Employ language that prompts action or response. Phrases like "describe," "explain," "list," or "compare" can guide the recipient on how to respond.
-
Avoid Ambiguity: Ensure the prompt is free from ambiguous language that could lead to multiple interpretations. Be clear about what is being asked.
-
Audience Awareness: Tailor the prompt to the knowledge level and interests of the intended audience. Consider what they need to know to respond effectively.
-
Feedback and Iteration: Be open to feedback on the prompt's effectiveness and be willing to iterate and refine it based on the responses received.
-
Use of Examples: When appropriate, include examples to illustrate what you are looking for, helping to clarify expectations.
-
Encourage Creativity: Allow room for creativity and original thought, especially if the goal is to generate new ideas or solutions.
By adhering to these best practices, you can craft prompts that are more likely to elicit useful, relevant, and insightful responses
· How do I access my saved projects or data?
Answer: To access your saved agents or chats, simply select the project from your dashboard. On the left panel, you’ll see the history of your previous chats. When creating a new chat, you will be prompted with a list of the existing agents you’ve created for that specific project.
